Mofuro (The Upper Storey) launches a touch screen display system for CapitaLand

  • Mofuro (a division of The Upper Storey) develops large touch screen display
  • The work showcases CapitaLand assets across the globe to investors and corporate clients
  • The work is a combination of a bespoke backend CMS for display systems and front end design and graphics

The Upper Storey (TUS) and Mofuro (a division of The Upper Storey) has combined the best of touch screen technology with easy to use content management system (CMS) to help develop a long term application to communicate all of CapitaLand’s property and financial assets across the globe. This forward looking technology driven form of storytelling enables CapitaLand to showcase their global footprint through rich media assets. This is in line with their overall attitude to business and business opportunities.

CapitaLand is one of Asia’s largest real estate companies, with operations spanning more than 110 cities in over 20 countries across Asia Pacific and Europe.

The system comprised three of the latest LG 65” LED TV’s fitted with the newest infrared touch technology from TouchKit. Each TV is controlled with an individual PC and can operate as standalone demonstration on one screen or as a united presentation mode using all 3 combined screens.

Touch screen systems such as this are part of a wide range of technologies which are expanding the content delivery and engagement opportunities for businesses with an audience. These technologies are continually blurring the line between online and offline digital platforms for a variety of applications now being widely adopted for marketing and communications.

Prakash Kamdar, Managing Director of The Upper Storey & Mofuro said: “The Upper Storey and Mofuro have a long history of jointly developing high quality engaging content, and in 2009 has expanded into delivery of that content on different platforms. This is part of the history of pushing boundaries at TUS, and it is paying off for our clients”.

New corporate website for Thuraya Telecommunications

“This month, The Upper Storey proudly launches a revamped corporate website for Thuraya Telecommunications.  The CMS-driven website communicates Thuraya’s new corporate identity and speaks to its business customers, touching all verticals.

While there is a slight focus on the brand’s hero product, Thuraya XT  the world’s toughest satellite phone  there is also an in-depth showcase of Thuraya’s extensive list of products and services.  The highlight of the former initiative is a Thuraya XT 3D demo developed by Mofuro, The Upper Storey’s motion graphics team.

And because part of the site’s KPI is to help drive sales on Thuraya products, convenient options to contact Thuraya and its distributors are made available through a custom-built store locator tool and simple web forms on all pages.  The site was of course, built with a foolproof backend CMS interface to support updates in the long term.

This is only the beginning of our work with Thuraya.  Stay tuned for the extranet and more 3D demos!”

New site for LOHAS Asia

lohas-logoThis week we are happy to launch a new simple site for LOHAS Asia. Run by the ever passionate Adam Horler, LOHAS stands for “Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability”. LOHAS seeks to develop both Business and Consumer networks, providing them a list of benefits from research to business opportunities. However this first phase is based around content, put in place while the movement gathers momentum in Asia. Given this content focus and the growing needs of the organisation overtime, TUS recommended leveraging the WordPress blog engine with a front page interface to help tell the LOHAS story.

The Upper Storey was happy to be involved, having developed everything from the logo through to a budget conscious site focused on these clear objectives.

New Lasalle website

banner-sirnWe are happy to post the new website for Lasalle College of the Arts. This relatively simple job was a content migration and new design for the existing site content and structure.

But in the process we have put in a new Joomla! CMS with some nice graphics and an easy way to update their new Live@Lasalle home page.

Thank you to the marketing team at Lasalle, it was a pleasure putting this together.
