The Office 2010 campaign was one that pulled no punches. It first started with a full online launch, before moving on to Twitter, Facebook and online forums, advocating conversations between the brand and the users, and among users themselves.

Though it has had many product breakthroughs, especially in the recent years, one usually wouldn’t associate Microsoft with a less-than-traditional digital campaign. So the online launch of Microsoft Office 2010 was one that took many by surprise.

Since the introduction of Windows 7, Microsoft’s campaigns have been going more “digital”, and we’ve been right at the forefront, developing marketing strategies for the Singaporean market and beyond. Going further than simple adaptations of their global work, creative concepts were given local context and made relevant to audiences at home – helping Microsoft better connect with users.
