Dell Swarm launches in UK
This week Dell Swarm kicked off in the UK with a soft launch built mainly for testing. The first product is the Dell Streak 5 Android Tablet for only £199.50.
Dell Swarm has now had a long history. This is actually the 5th generation platform, and includes some new backend and functional changes from the Australian version which ran at the end of ’10.
The UK is a great online market, with online commerce being very mature. The first few days look good with a large number of tweets considering it is a soft launch. In the end we have found out the idea spreads best WOM (word of mouth), but the online buzz and sharing is a nice indication of what may happen offline.
